Danny Barlow holds an F.A. Preliminary Coaching Badge, England's equivalent of a USSF "B" coaching license. Danny was captain of both his high school and college teams and played semi-professionally in England for three years. Danny was Head Coach at the Academy of our Lady of Peace in San Diego and varsity girls coach at Canby High School.
Cory Hand has been a staff coach with Westside Timbers for six years and has eleven years coaching experience at the Club level. He holds a USSF "C" License. Currently he is the head women's soccer coach at George Fox University. Previously, he was the coach of Horizon Christian High School's Girls Varsity team, where he created the program and within four years they became league champions with a 1A school against 3A schools. Cory created and founded his own Keeper Academy that produced several collegiate and internationally recognized keepers. He played for Whitworth College (Division 3), was an ODP player and attended Regional Camp. He is the creator of Trinity Soccer Camps and still runs both of these programs. He is also a personal trainer at Trinity Training and specializes in athletic development in elite athletes. Past accomplishments include a State Championship and Regional Championship. Cory spends much of his time coaching and working with Play 4 Hope, a Non-Profit focused on using soccer to reach the lives of street kids in Rwanda, Africa.
Nick Heffernan is from Brighton, England and played for two professional soccer academies from ages 11-16. He also played in Australia and Finland. Nicholas moved to America in
2009 to play college soccer at Rocky Mountain College, Billings, Montana. He won All Region Player three years in a row as well as All American in 2012. He moved to Oregon in December 2012 and
currently owns a franchise for STUDENTathleteWorld. He work closely with parents and players to find the best possibly college athletics program as well as obtaining the best possible scholarship
offers for his athletes. He will be the Head Varsity Coach for Girls Scappoose High School Soccer this season and currently plays for IPS soccer club.
Coaching experience: Brighton Soccer Club Academy Coach (England, 3 years). Magic City Soccer Club U17 and U16 Boys Head Coach and U16 Girls Head Coach (Billings, MT, 4 years), UK Soccer Camps Coach (Portland, Oregon) Southside Soccer Club U9 Academy Coach (Portland, OR). He also has his National C License and England FA Level 1 and 2 Soccer License.
Stuart Hoiem has coached competitive and development soccer at Aloha United and Hillsboro Soccer Clubs since 2001. His U11 Boys team won the Presidents Cup in 2005 and his U17 boys' team was an OPL quarterfinalist in 2012. He has coached high school soccer at Glencoe (head JV and varsity assistant), La Salle (varsity assistant, state finalist 2005) and Hillsboro (head jv and varsity assistant - state champions 2006.) Coach Hoiem holds USSF "D" and NSCAA National license.

Jim Maine is currently an assistant coach at George Fox University. Jim was the boys' soccer coach at Newberg High School for seven years. He led the Tigers to playoff berths four times from 1995-2002. He was named the Pac-7 Conference Coach of the Year in 1997 and the Pac-8 Coach of the Year in 1999. A native of Yakima, WA, Maine was a two-time MVP, team captain, and First Team All-League selection at Eisenhower High School. After a year at Spokane Community College, he played for George Fox from 1992-94. He also played four seasons of professional soccer with the Yakima Reds of the USISL in 1995, the Cascade Surge of the USISL in 1997-98, and the Portland Pythons indoor soccer team in 1999.
Brad Pollard came to the Westside Timbers in 2007 from James Irwin Charter High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he was both the boys and girls varsity coach for three years. He has also coached U18 Boys at the Corinthians Soccer Club, and teams ranging from U15 Boys to U18 Girls at Pikes Peak Rush Soccer Club, also in Colorado. His college experience includes playing at Oklahoma Christian University and Shasta College in Redding, CA, as a goalkeeper and mid-fielder. Brad was the JV coach for Sherwood High School in 2007 and the head boys soccer coach at Valley Catholic High School from 2008-2011.
Brad holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma as well as a Goalkeeping 1 and 2 Diploma.
Jaime Ramos has been a staff coach with Westside Timbers for eight years and has 12 years coaching experience at the Club level. Jaime played professional soccer for eight years in the Mexican premier league FMF. He holds a USSF "B" license and a Director Tecnico Nacional Del Futbol Youth/Professional ATFA/AFT (Argentina Soccer Federation). Currently he is the head coach of Forest Grove High School's Girls Varsity Team and the Assistant ODP coach with Girls and RTC Staff. He is an international Soccer Scout for the professional Colombian teams, Independent de Medellin and Once Caldas.
Stan Rodrigues - Westside Timbers at Tualatin Sherwood Director of Coaching - Stan has been involved in coaching in Oregon for more than 16 years and has been on the coaching staff
at Westside Metros for the last 11 years. He has his "C" license as well as his USSF adult coaching license and NSCAA Goal Keeper level IV and V licenses.
Stan coached Westside Timbers teams to many league and state cup top results. His U17G Fury team won the Inaugural Oregon Premier League State Cup in 2011 and was ranked as high as 32nd in the nation. His 2009 U15B SWAT was the President's Cup Regional Wild Card Team. In 2010 they were state quarterfinalist. His U16B team finished in second place in the premier division in 2003. He continued to coach them at U17 when they were the Oregon State Cup finalist and US Club Regional finalist. He coached the Galaxy the 2008 State Cup Champions at U18G and U19G and a Far West regionals quarterfinalist at U19.
Stan was the assistant varsity coach for the Tualatin High School girls' soccer team, the 2002 girl's state champions. Stan previously coached and was the General Manager of the WPSL Portland Rain, and was the WPSL's 2009 Coach of the Year. Stan was the former the Head Women's coach at Clark Community College in Vancouver that made NWAACC quarterfinals in 2011.
Stan's teams have won or placed in prestigious tournaments over the years including the Disney Showcase, Las Vegas College Coaches Showcase, Surf Cup and many more. Many players that Stan has coached have gone on to play collegiately and professionally.
Dana Stilwell has been a Westside Timbers coach since 2002 and has his USSF C license. During his time with the club he has coached many teams, including: WSM Porto U18 Boys, 2011-2012; WSM Real U14 Boys, 2011-2012; WSM 97 Usonians U14 Girls Assistant Coach, 2011-2012; U13 Boys B98 Samba and U14 B99 Samba 2012-present; WSM Porto 2004 Directors Cup Champions; WSM Jaguars U11 Boys 2005, U12 Boys 2006 State Champions and 2012 Directors Cup Silver Division Champions with B98 Samba.
Chris Thurley has been with Westside Timbers since 1996, with a two year hiatus 2002-03. His credentials and experience include: USSF 'A' and 'Y' (Youth) Licenses & NSCAA Advanced National Diploma; La Salle high school - Girl's Head Coach (1995 - 1996) and Boy's Head Coach (1997-2005), High School State Champions (1998, 1999, 2004, 2011, 2013); The Oregonian State Coach of the Year (five times); Oregon Athletic Coaches Association State Coach of the Year (seven times); Tri Valley Coach of the Year (seven times); Metro League Coach of the Year (twice). Chris has been the coach of ten OSYA and OPL State Championship teams since 1994. He was a former Oregon ODP Staff Coach. Chris' playing experience includes: Bishop's Stortford Swifts (1983-1991) and Essex Olympian League (semi-pro league). He is currently Department Chair for PE/Health Department at Jesuit High School.
Jimmy Velasco has been a Westside Timbers coach for the last two years. He holds a National "A" coaching license. He recently moved from Anchorage, Alaska where he was the founder and Director of Coaching for Full Force Soccer Club. Jimmy is a Region IV ODP Staff Member and is fluent in Spanish.
