B02 Copa: Jaime Ramos has been a staff coach with Westside Timbers for eight years and has 12 years coaching experience at the Club level. Jaime played professional soccer for eight years in the Mexican premier league FMF. He holds a USSF "B" license and a Director Tecnico Nacional Del Futbol Youth/Professional ATFA/AFT (Argentina Soccer Federation). Currently he is the head coach of Forest Grove High School's Girls Varsity Team and the Assistant ODP coach with Girls and RTC Staff. He is an international Soccer Scout for the professional Colombian teams, Independent de Medellin and Once Caldas.

B01 Copa: Jimmy Velasco has been a Westside Timbers coach for the last two years. He holds a National "A" coaching license. He recently moved from Anchorage, Alaska where he was the founder and Director of Coaching for Full Force Soccer Club. Jimmy is a Region IV ODP Staff Member and is fluent in Spanish.
B01 Samba: Yimmi Ulloa started coaching club soccer in 2004 for Willamette United Soccer Club with U14 boys and finished second in the league. In 2005, his U13 boys won the Nike and Chinook Cups and finished the league undefeated. The team also advanced to semi-finals in the President's Cup.
From 2007-2010, Yimmi coached at WAFC helping to develop goal keepers. He joined Westside Timbers in 2012 as an assistant coach for Jaime Ramos with the U11 Boys B01 Copa, finishing in the top three in the league and taking the team to five of six finals in tournaments. He also was the assistant coach for Dana Stilwell with the B98 Samba U14 Boys. The B98 Samba won the Summer Slam Tournament and the 2012 Director's Cup (silver division).
B01 Mundial: A.R. Sutton began coaching in upstate New York for the club team he played for, the Rochester Juniors S. C. In 1978 he began coaching the U6s and U7s. That same year
and the next in high school soccer, he would be named All American, a title that earned him a full scholarship to Division I Oneonta State University. After completing four years there he played
one season in the now defunct MISL as a goalkeeper for the Buffalo Stallions. While in the Air Force he coached his unit's soccer team of adults in the Spokane soccer league. While there he formed
through tryouts the U19 boys team. That team traveled to Seattle to pre-qualify for the upcoming season. They won and played the season in the gold bracket. Now a 20 -year native of Oregon, A. R.
first coached in the open women's division (the Crushers). He coached as assistant at Valley Catholic high school for five years. He has been with the Westside Timbers Development program since
2005 and has coached several WT teams. A. R. has over thirty years coaching experience with all age groups and both genders and holds a national high school coaching certification. He is also
licensed to teach in Washington and Oregon.
B00 Copa: John Bain played professional soccer for 22 years. He coached professionally for five years. John has coached youth soccer since the early 90's. His high school coaching highlights include two Washington State Championships at Mountain View High School in 1991 and 1992. John's youth coaching achievements include 19 state championships with six different teams. He coached the WT Galacticos winning the US Club Soccer National Championship. John is currently the Director of Soccer Operations for Westside Timbers. He is also an ambassador for the Portland Timbers and was recently inducted into the Ring of Fame with the Portland Timbers.
B00 Samba: Fabian Monroy is a 2007 graduate of Portland Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Fitness. He assisted Coach Mike Foulke with the Portland Community College Soccer Club, where he also played in the fall of 2006. Fabian begins his fifth year as a Westside Timbers coach, and he has also been a staff coach in the Westside Development Program and has coached several Westside Warriors recreational teams. A native of Mexico, Fabian started playing at the age of 5. At age 13, he joined the Necaxa Soccer Club School, a professional soccer club in Mexico. He moved to Oregon at the age of 18 where he has played on several recreational teams.
B00 Mundial: Alex Marshall has been an assistant coach at Westside Timbers for the past year with the B00 Copa and B96 Mundial teams. He is the JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach
at Century High School in Hillsboro. Alex recently moved to Oregon from England where he played both high school and college soccer. He holds a USSF "E" license.

G02 Copa: Jorge Rios Nogales holds a National D License and the Coerver Coaching Youth Diploma and has extensive playing experience at the highest level from youth to professional. Jorge was scouted at the age of 13 by Universitario de Deportes, the most popular professional team in his native Peru, where he became U14 Peruvian Champion.
He played the South American Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina against the famous Academia Tahuichi. Jorge also played the EFIPAN tournament for Universitario de Deportes in Alegrete, Brazil where players such as Ronaldinho Gaucho, Juan Riquelme, Carlos Tevez, Neymar and Esteban Cambiasso have shined. He also played with well-known Peruvian national players such Chemo del Solar (head coach of Peru WCQ 2010), Julio Cesar Uribe (head coach of Peru in 2007 Copa America) and was coached by Roberto Challe (Peruvian National coach in WCQ 1985) in 1986/87. He played for FC Tailfingen at the Third Division in Germany.
Jorge was the founder, manager and coach/player of Sudaca FC, one of the top adult soccer clubs in San Diego. Sudaca FC represented Southern California in the US Open Cup Region IV in 2006 and 2007, USASA National Veterans 2012 Champions. He is also the manager and coach/player of Sudaca FC Futsal-Portland's top Futsal team and NW Futsal Regional finalist 2011. Currently, as a Board of Director, Sudaca FC has a direct relationship with professional Mexican clubs Pachuca, Pumas and Zacatepec for sending outstanding US players for professional tryouts. This is his second year as a staff coach for Westside Timbers, and in addition, Jorge is the Boys Assistant Varsity Coach at Newberg High School.
Studied at the University of Lima, Peru; the University of Tuebingen, Germany; and has a degree in Finance from San Diego State University. Fluent in Spanish, German and Portuguese.
G02 Samba: Philippe Thuillier holds a USSF "D" License. He has played soccer in France since the age of 9, and in men's leagues in the USA since he moved to Portland. He has five years experience coaching both boys and girls (U8-U12) at club level. Since 2009, he has been the head coach for Cedar Splinters Soccer Club and more recently for Milltown United Soccer Club where he has focused on player development. Since 2011 he has been assisting Westside Timbers Coaches Romeo Salazar (Development) and Jaime Ramos (B01 Copa).
Philippe (pronounced Fee/Leap) is fluent in French and Spanish. He holds a PhD in biochemistry from Colorado State University and works as a cancer researcher at OHSU. He has two children who both enjoy soccer.
G02 Mundial: Erick Wheelock is in his seventh year on the Westside Timbers staff and has been involved with soccer for the past 18 years. He played high school and college soccer before coaching at the youth level. Erick was previously the Director of Coaching for Aloha United. He has been coaching youth soccer at the recreational and competitive level for the last 13 years and currently holds a USSF "C" license.
G01 Copa: Cory Hand has been a staff coach with Westside Timbers for six years and has eleven years coaching experience at the Club level. He holds a USSF "C" License. Currently he is the head women's soccer coach at George Fox University. Previously, he was the coach of Horizon Christian High School's Girls Varsity team, where he created the program and within four years they became league champions with a 1A school against 3A schools. Cory created and founded his own Keeper Academy that produced several collegiate and internationally recognized keepers. He played for Whitworth College (Division 3), was an ODP player and attended Regional Camp. He is the creator of Trinity Soccer Camps and still runs both of these programs. He is also a personal trainer at Trinity Training and specializes in athletic development in elite athletes. Past accomplishments include a State Championship and Regional Championship. Cory spends much of his time coaching and working with Play 4 Hope, a Non-Profit focused on using soccer to reach the lives of street kids in Rwanda, Africa.
G01 Samba: Jeff Carroll, Sr. has 26 years of playing experience, coming up through the elite A-2 men's league in northern California. He has been coaching for 24 years and holds a
USSF National "D" coaching license and Coerver Coaching Youth Diploma. Jeff has been a Westside Timbers Staff Coach for 20 years and prior to joining WT served as Vice President in charge of Player
Development at Santa Rosa Central Soccer Club in California. Jeff has concentrated on the development of younger players, taking the WSM Boys Phantoms from Classic 2 at U12 into the Premier
Division at U14. They traveled to Hawaii, winning the Aloha International Tournament Cup and were awarded the Referee's Coin for good sportsmanship. He also took the U14 Girls Rage to England,
placing second in the Newcastle, Tyneside Tournament while playing in the U16 bracket, and also won the Pondus Cup in Denmark. He has taken three second teams ( "B" teams ) to state cup semi
finals, 2001 WSM Phantoms / 2006 WSM Porto, / 2009 WSM Rampage.

G99 Copa: Danny Barlow was captain of both his high school and college teams and played semi-professionally in England for three years. Danny was Head Coach at the Academy of our Lady of Peace in San Diego and varsity girls coach at Canby High School. Danny holds an F.A. Preliminary Coaching Badge, England's equivalent of a USSF "B" coaching license.
