Westside Timbers' Philosophy
|
Our philosophy is to develop the full potential of each player in our club. We do this by providing outstanding year-round programs which concentrate on the whole player. Our
commitment to our players and families is to:
· hire quality team coaches and trainers
· provide exceptional year-round developmental programs
· keep costs as low as possible
· provide financial assistance to qualified families
· provide fund raising opportunities for all families
· provide up-to-date information on club programs and events
· have dedicated long-term volunteers
Westside Timbers is fortunate to have one of the most accomplished and dynamic coaches in the United States as our Head Coach, Cony Konstin. Cony provides a level of
development and commitment unmatched anywhere in Oregon. His most recent achievement is being named the US Adult Soccer Association Men's National Select Team Coach
(www.usasa.com). Cony brings
an attacking style of play to the club that is exciting to watch and fun to play.
Over the years, the club also has enjoyed stable management with many of the original founding members of the club (founded in 1993) still active.
